Client Agreement & Policies

Effective Date: February 27, 2024

Introduction

These Client Agreements and Policies (“Agreement”) outline the terms and conditions governing the professional services provided by Choirib Mahendra (“I,”  “me,”  or “my”) through IT Support Virtual. This agreement applies to all services offered.

Service Agreement

For each signed client project, I will provide a customized service agreement within five (5) business days. This document will clearly outline:

  • The specific scope of work to be performed.
  • An estimated project schedule.
  • A detailed cost structure and payment terms.

Scope of Work

The services provided will be limited to the scope explicitly defined in the written service agreement. Any additional work significantly altering the original scope requires written approval from both parties, as it may impact the project plan and pricing.

Equipment Access & Data Backups

  • Remote access to your systems may be necessary for support work. I will obtain your authorization and exercise due care when accessing your equipment remotely.
  • While I can assist with data backups and monitoring, you retain full ownership and responsibility for protecting your data from potential loss or damage. I am not liable for any data-related issues outside the managed backups outlined in the service agreement.

Intellectual Property

Any original work I develop during the project belongs to me, unless a specific transfer of ownership is explicitly agreed upon in writing. Usage rights for clients will be defined in the individual service agreement.

Termination

This agreement may be terminated by either party upon written notice with thirty (30) days’ advance notice. Upon termination, the following provisions will survive:

  • Payment obligations for all completed work and services.
  • Unpaid invoices may be sent to collections.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of five (5) business days’ written notice is required to cancel or reschedule work without incurring any fees. Emergencies will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Rate Changes

  • I reserve the right to adjust service rates with thirty (30) days’ advance notice by publishing the updated rates online.
  • All quotes remain valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance.

Confidentiality & Policy Updates

  • All client information is kept confidential, as outlined in my privacy policy.
  • Your continued business with IT Support Virtual signifies your acceptance of any modifications to these policies.
